My dream house would be a beautiful two story house with a huge white porch over looking a river. I would power my home with hydro power, since I would be right be a river it would be logical. I would have the dam be father down the river so that it may not cause flooding problems or disrupt the scenery. I would never have to worry about losing power or running out of power. I wouldn't even have to pay for hydro power because it is free to use.I would make sure that it was well construct, so that I would not have to worry about it bursting. I think that hydro power would be the best choice for my future dream house.
West Virginia is famous for a lot of things, but there are primarily two. Those two things would be its beautiful mountain scenery and its rich source of coal. In certain situations the things can oppose each other. Many people think that it would be beneficial to the coal industry if they could do mountain top removal mining. Yes, it would be beneficial to coal industry by making it easier, faster, and more coal, but you need to take into account everything that it will affect in a negative way. Think of every thing those beautiful moutain tops represent: animal habitats, tourist attractions, and breath taking scenery. You need to ask yourselves is making getting coal a little easier and quicker worth losing all these wonderful things. I know having lived in west virginia my whole life I would miss the beautiful moutains so much. It would be like a completely different place. The moutains are one of the things that make West Virginia the wild and wonderful place that it is.
